Joy, healing, the salvation of someone you love?
Are you waiting for peace? In your heart? In your home?
Are you waiting for something good to finally come your way? Maybe it’s a job or a promotion or just security in the place that you’re in? Maybe a relationship, the end or beginning or the healing within one?
Have you been waiting a long time?

David cried the same. How long Lord? Will you forget me forever?
Do you feel forgotten?
Does His silence feel like He has turned away?

Do you have moments of hopelessness? Like David, do you feel like giving up?
Light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death. (ESV)
Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die. (NLT)
Tell me, or I will die. (ICB)
Restore my strength; don’t let me die. (GNBDC)
So much pain. So much fear. Yet, even then, David knew Who to call upon. Do you call upon the same One who loves you and has never left you?
This is faith.

But I trust in Your unfailing love. No matter what, if the healing and the joy and peace never arrive, I still will trust in Your faithful love.
How is this even possible?
Remember when God was faithful. The Bible is filled with stories of His faithfulness. He has been faithful to you. Remember those stories, remember the times.
If He was faithful, He will be faithful. Why would He stop now? He has never stopped loving you. He has never left you alone. He is with you now.
I will sing of God’s faithfulness, for He has been good to me.
Find peace and hope in the waiting, my friend. ❤️🌸🌹
