Rewind to December of 2019
A friend of mine encouraged me to write devotions, which are like mini-Bible studies including, scripture, some kind of teaching, and small bits of encouragement. I do not think I’m wise, but I pray for understanding and wisdom. Sometimes God grants my prayer. Other times I have scratched my head, inhaled too much coffee, and growled at my keyboard. 🤷🏻♀️☕️😠
But, in those times, God always led me to someone who knew more- pastors, theologians, Christian/Jewish institutions. I have even learned some Hebrew! 💡
Enter 2020 (and we all know what that means)
My same friend asked me to share these devotions on my website. We were all locked down. Churches were closed. We were isolated, lonely, worried, angry, etc. etc. etc. Blah blah blah.
We needed a way to connect. God knew. And for me, this became a lifeline. 😢

Today
This study of the Psalter is available on my website. But sorting through it can be cumbersome. Therefore, I’ve compiled the study into a book (a rather large pdf) that I would like to share with you.
Follow me via email (as I’m not sure how else to get the book out to those who want it).
For now . . .
You can read through the devotions here- Psalms 📖 🤓
Fun Fact.
Did you know that some Bible translations are under copyright? I used many translations to study the book of Psalms. However, when writing each individual Psalm out at the beginning of its devotion (except for the really long ones!), I primarily used the New International Version.
Well . . . that means I need permission from Biblica. The requirements are when using more than 500 verses OR an entire chapter. I have done both. 😁
As of today, my request is still in review.
God revealed many things to me throughout the three+ years of studying the Psalter. I am no expert, but He taught me so much that I want to share.
My gift to you. 🎁 💝

May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:14
That was a noble task.
I prefer Biblegateway.com.
They have many different translations as well.
Yes, I have used that one too. I primarily use my bible or the youversion bible app. Have you used that one before? I like their daily verse and story.
I have never heard of them.
I like crosswalk.com for their articles and prayers.
Another good one is Our Daily Bread.
Oh yes, thanks for the reminder of those too. I used to read an our daily bread when I was young.
I get it on youtube so mother can listen to it every morning
