the meaning of life

Can I speak it in one line? A sentence? A word?
Is there really meaning to all of this?

Deceivers, manipulators, liars point over there,
they say, “follow me, I’ll show you.”
What does that way lead to?
Disappointment. Loneliness. Self-hate. Pain. Death.

Why? Why is it elusive? Why can’t we find it on our own?

It is not. The meaning of life is built into us.
Every heart desires it.
Every soul longs for something that it lacks on its own.
Every being seeks something to fill a void.

Most find things that hurt more. Most chase after the wind.
Many fall to their deaths.

What are we created for?
What are we here for?
What is the meaning?

He has shown you, O man, what is good and what does the LORD require of you,
but to do justly,
to love mercy,
and to walk humbly with your God

Complete Jewish Bible

Know, today, that you are loved. You are treasured. You are valued. You are worthy.
This is Truth. Jesus loves you. That is all that matters.

Let go of all the earthly stuff today and walk with Him.

  1. Great writing. I like that you say that it’s built into us. I believe the deepest of answers are all within, but we humans are so focused on the corporeal world, even in our so called spiritual pursuits
