Jesus,
in pain and darkness, in loneliness and despair,
how did you find hope?
when you looked upon your accusers, when you saw their faces in the crowd, the ones you loved, the ones you knew,
how did you not shake your fist?
how could you look upon the one who betrayed you with love still?
how could you sleep at night knowing the days ahead?
when you knew what would happen, how could you even take a step?
in darkness, you knew hope
in pain, you knew love
in grief, you knew joy
how?
Jesus.
But God.
He was faithful.
He is faithful.
He will be faithful.

I wish we all could be like Jesus. He set a great example for us. But it’s soo hard to get there.
There are always spiritual /emotional battles in my mind. Thank you Jesus for forgiveness and mercy and unconditional love for us.
Absolutely! This week is all about the gift of grace. And I love that verse that says “his mercies are new each morning. I am thankful for the new day, a new day to try again.
I really like the last stanza because it is so true
So true. Sometimes when I start to doubt, I just try to remember God’s faithfulness in the past. If God was faithful, why would He stop being faithful? Have a blessed Easter my friend.
