Are you waiting on an answer to a prayer?
Does it feel like God is quiet… distant… or maybe not listening at all?

David was too.

Psalm 13 reminds me that even Israel’s greatest king—a man after God’s own heart—wondered if God had forgotten him. And somehow, that truth brings me peace today.

It’s okay to ask these questions.
It’s okay to bring the ache, the frustration, the how long, Lord?

Watch what happens, though. David pours it all out—and then comes the turning point.

That holy “but…”
“But I trust in Your unfailing love…”
The weight lifts. Peace settles in. Praise follows.
