Prayer. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

Does prayer change God’s mind?
No, God is sovereign. We cannot convince Him of a better way. There is no better way than His.

Can prayer change our circumstances? Yes. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
Like a good father, God loves to do things for His children when they ask. That is, when these things fit within the boundaries of what is good for us and for others and for His glory.

No matter how much I try, I cannot convince someone that prayer works.
I know it does. I know it because I have seen it. I have experienced it.
I can tell stories and give so many examples of lives changed by prayer.

But sometimes this can come off as preaching. Right? If you’ve never experienced God in this way, to hear how He has helped someone else can almost feel like rejection. Like God plays favorites.

So instead, I offer a challenge: Try it.
Go to your heavenly Father in prayer and tell Him what you need or what someone else needs. Set a five minute timer on your phone and talk to Him each day, preferably first thing in the morning before the world and all its stresses have you distracted.

And then . . . see what happens. See what happens, my friend!

I promise you that He is waiting to hear from you.
No request is too small or too big.
He does not think our feelings are stupid or a waste of His time.
He already knows what’s on your heart, so speak it to him.

He does answer our prayers. He does change circumstances. He does heal. He does save. He does redeem. The Bible is filled with stories of these things, but He still does them today.

So, five minutes a day, first thing in the morning, tell Him about it.
And wait expectantly. Watch for Him to move . . . because He will.
I know it’s been a while. I will update my followers SOON with some news.
Love and hugs,
Heidi
