Psalm 3:3

Another one of 👑 David’s psalms. This one was written around the time of his son’s ultimate betrayal- and not just a kid refusing to clean his room. The kind of betrayal that movies are made out of. 😱

Absalom was a grown man intent upon killing his father and stealing his throne. You can feel David’s heartache in his words.

Have you felt this sting? A wayward child? The pain of betrayal by someone you love? The ultimate 💔?

God wants you to know that He sees you. He knows and He walks with you. He saw David through this fire and He will see you through whatever you face today.

God was faithful. He is faithful. He will be faithful.

The psalms are a beautiful gift from a loving Father, a fierce Protector, and a loyal Defender.
